[openstack-dev] [nova][ThirdPartyCI][PCI] Intel Third party Hardware based CI for PCI

0 votes

Hi,

Intel set up a Hardware based Third Part CI. it's already running
sets of PCI test cases
for several weeks (do not sent out comments, just log the result)
the log server and these test cases seems fairly stable now. to begin
given comments to nova
repository, what other necessary work need to be address?

to make a more stable service we upgrade the networking device, then the
log server address change to a new
IP address: 198.175.100.33

so the sample log change to(replace the 192.55.68.190 to new address):

http://198.175.100.33/143614/6/
http://198.175.100.33/139900/4

The public link for your test logs should really be a host name instead of
an IP address. That way if you have to change it again in the future, you
won't have dead links in old comments. You may already know, but all of the
requirements and recommendations are here:
http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack-infra/system-config/tree/doc/source/third_party.rst

Hi...it would be good to test a bunch of the
hugepages/pinning/multi-numa-node-guests/etc. features with real hardware. The
normal testing doesn't cover much of that since it's hardware-agnostic.

we had another team build up a Networking CI for this purposes.
