I get the same from almost all the commands, even from those
services that I know work!

I've never bothered to figure out why. But apparently one
now uses the command "openstack" instead..

Dear Murano team member

I want to install the murano on top of my openstack mitaka,
Is there any installation guide and user guide for it? I cannot find it on openstack site
I have an openstack mitaka version and 1 controller and a few compute nodes, I want to install the murano on production environment
Thankswally

I had a similar issue. If you follow the guide you use "container-infra” for the service type, but the magnum client version I was using (2.1.0) looks for ”container”.

Even after that though, I have not been able to get it fully working. I am seeing this error in magnum-conductor.log, and haven’t had time to fully debug it:

Hi,
Can you be more specific about which versions of OpenStack mitaka do you
use? E.g. package, source code installation, etc.

Dear Murano team member

I want to install the murano on top of my openstack mitaka,

Is there any installation guide and user guide for it? I cannot find it on
openstack site

I have an openstack mitaka version and 1 controller and a few compute
nodes, I want to install the murano on production environment

Thanks
wally

Hi,
here is the section about installing murano in our docs:
http://docs.openstack.org/developer/murano/draft/admin-guide/deploy_murano.html

There are official debian packages for murano https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/murano
There are also murano packages in ubuntu-cloud.archive http://ubuntu-cloud.archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/pool/main/m/murano/ (They’re a bit outdated, but I’m working on updating those)
We currently still do not have RDO packages, but I hope to fix that during N cycle.

I also recommend adding [Murano] if you’re asking questions about murano. That’ll make the letter more visible to the murano team =)

Hello Wally,

You can do it pretty easily
It's very simple git clone devstack
and create a local.conf file using this link lo5.venumurthy.com
and run /.stack.sh and on a successful run will have Murano available on
the dashboard.

Best regards,
Venu
