Thanks, Tong. Tamara (from our production company FNtech) and I will be in the meeting tomorrow to cover a few logistics and answer questions.

The interop challenge segment will take place at approximately 9:30 am CET during the keynotes on Wednesday, October 26. We have 16 inputs for the demo and are currently planning to have the following people on stage:
Mark Baker, Canonical
Rohm Agarwalla, Cisco
Dror Gensler, Fujitsu
Ghe Rivero, HPE
Zhenyu Zheng, Huawei
Daniela Ebert, DT
Tong Li, IBM
Gema Gomez, Linaro
??, Mirantis
Luz Cazares, OSIC
??, OVH
Egle Sigler, Rackspace
Daniel Mellado, Red Hat
??, SUSE
Mark Voelker, VMware
Stefano Maffulli, DreamHost
We need the final list of names by FRIDAY, because we are going to update the agenda and build a slide to recognize participants. We’re also going to produce logo clings for laptops, which will be visible to the audience during the demo, and we are planning to name the participating organizations in a press release on Tuesday the 26th. If you are participating and your name / company name does not appear on this list, I need to know immediately :)

To provide a quick overview of the setup, we will have one or two long tables, and all participants will set up in a line across the stage. Jonathan and Brad Topol will kick off the segment and all of the participants will immediately start building their LAMP application. Jonathan and Brad will then talk through a handful of slides about the challenge and what’s happening, and then start walking around and engaging with “contestants" in a gameshow format. When they talk to one of the participants, the person’s screen will be displayed to highlight OpenStack capabilities and milestones of the build. We will talk through and refine the flow at the on-site rehearsals in Barcelona.

The primary requirement for participants is to attend two rehearsals in Barcelona prior to the keynote. Please note if you are unable to attend rehearsal, you will need to identify another person in your organization who can rehearse and participate in the live interop challenge. Please take a look at the details in this etherpad and add your information:

https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/interop-challenge-participant-info

Again, Tamara and I will be in the meeting tomorrow to answer any questions, but we wanted you to have all the information via email.

Thank you!! We are very excited to feature the interop challenge in Barcelona and appreciate all of your work!

After I meet in person with OpenStack foundation last Monday, Lauren and
Tamara agreed to take time from their busy schedule to participate in our
Oct 12th Wednesday meeting. Thanks so much to Lauren and Tamara!

During the meeting, Lauren and Tamara asked each participate who will go on
stage for the live demo to provide their information at the below etherpad,
please do this asap.

The information provided by each participate will allow OpenStack
foundation to grant you permission to enter the building for rehearsal on
Monday (possibly Sunday if one is scheduled) and provide you any update on
this on-stage appearance. Please refer to the discussion here and take all
necessary actions for the two rehearsals. I will also be there to provide
some information on what questions Jonathan Bryce may ask during this 12
minutes show since we have run this last Monday.
